Leroy Hippolyte, performing under the name of Raz Lee, was born in Paddington, UK, but raised in East London in the Early 70’s when lovers rock was at its prime. 

He grew up around many sound systems, and starting singing on the mic when he was 13. Getting a lot of recognition for being an MC, but wanting to go further he started working in Easy Street Studio starting out as a cleaner, but quickly getting recognised for his voice and was given the opportunity to sing along side the amazing John Holt, Dennis Brown, Carroll Thompson and many more artists. 

He went on to join forces with Errol Brown from the band The Chosen Few, who has produced some of his music.  He is now on his own label and continuing to release hits, having now had three number ones in the UK reggae charts.
